A complete redesign of the website of Flavio Manzoni, an Italian gelato maker based in Phuket: he supplies the region's five-star hotels and runs a gelateria in Kamala. A palace-grade look, two home views, one for hotels and one for the gelateria, and a flavour cinema where the cups roll by as you scroll, in five languages.
Stack: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, GSAP, ScrollTrigger.
The flavour cinema: the section pins and the five cups pass one by one
The direction
- A palace register, sober and bright, chosen from three directions presented.
- Jost in light capitals, no italics.
The site
- Two home views in a single file: hospitality professionals and gelateria customers.
- Five languages: English, French, Italian, Russian and Thai.
- Access map to the gelateria.
The images
- Cups, restaurant scenes and the gelateria, generated and checked with my image skill; the five flavours cut out for the cinema.
Motion
- GSAP and ScrollTrigger: the section pins and the five cups pass one by one as you scroll, stopping on each.
- Everything stops when the device asks for less motion.
